Our Baby Gift Wish List
I don’t normally do this sort of thing - not one to say "I WANT" while throwing tanties in the middle of supermarket isles, personally.
Well, mostly, anyhoo.
But two previous babies have taught me well - see, they do have their uses! So, I’ve developed a Wish List, mostly consisting of things that we really, really need for this baby, and in the hope that we don’t end up with 496, 000 more teddy bears and a baby with nothing to wear.
Please don’t think us rude. Just accept it as practical, honest and a major trait of an anal Virgo like myself
Of course, we don’t expect gifts, but just on the off chance someone feels the need to purchase something, these are things that would be most put to use, appreciated and we are really in need of.
- Bonds - grow suits, easy suits and singlets - sizes 00 and 0 (nothing that buttons up at the back, please!)
- Travel Baby Wrap - from Here (size M-L in navy blue) or Here (size M 00)
- Baby Summer Wrap - Here (a small or large)
- Muslin wraps - from Here
- Newborn nappies, wipes and all those sorts of things are also fabulous!
- Coles Myer gift vouchers would also come in really handy.
Other stuff (ok, for Amanda
) that are also much needed and would be greatly appreciated include:
- Nursing tee (size L) or nursing tank tops (size 14-6 D/DD)
- Pyjamas for breastfeeding at night - here (Size M-L)
- Athletes Foot vouchers (I started running, I really wanna get back into it - and my shoes have warn out!)
Amanda also really loves and needs really nice bath stuff (bubbles, salts) and/or shower gels or scrubs. But no more body butters, moisturisers or similar. They are coming out her ears!
Pete wants beer.
Matthew wants more trains.
Jamie … hmm, that depends on the day
(They told me to add those bits)
We really, really do not need - teddy bears or other stuffed creatures, talcum powder, cot sheets or blankets, bunny rugs, SOCKS (argh! they’re taking over the house!!!)
Thank you for taking the time to read and acknowledge our needs. Again, we do not expect anything, but we do know that some people like to offer a welcoming gesture to the baby, or gesture of congratulations to the family, for which we are accepting and very appreciative of.
No doubt you will be hearing from us shortly.
With love xoxoxoxoxox

Don’t blame us Virgo’s for your anal qualities. I happen to know it runs in the family because I married a McGuire and have had four McGuire children
